Waking up in the middle of the night, trouble falling asleep, insomnia, restlessness, nightmares, waking up feeling fatigued…
Healthy sleep patterns are key to maintaining good physical and mental health. The effects of even one disruptive night can be deeply felt. Join herbalist, holistic nutritionist and cook Lauren Haddad-Olivet on Sunday, February 25th for an herbal medicine making workshop centered on remedies for a sweeter night’s sleep.
Get hands-on and learn how to make:
- An herbal sleep sachet (to tuck under your pillow)
- A “Sleepy-time” herbal cordial
- Ashwaganda and nutmeg milk (we’ll be using nut milk to avoid any potential allergens)
Sip on a mug of relaxing tea and reclaim healing traditions that have been passed down through the centuries. Learn how to use plants as medicine and support your health and the health of your community.
The workshop will take place from 2:00-3:30pm at Nest Nutrition near Gare Cornavin.
You can RSVP by sending an email to thesoakedbean@gmail.com. The fee is 60 CHF per person. As always, hand-outs, recipes and herbal tea are included.
As space is often limited, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Thank you for your understanding.
